NAMES AND PROJECT SUMMARIES OF THE 22 APPROVED PROJECTS
On 17 July 2019 the ADRION Monitoring Committee met in Tivat (Montenegro) to discuss and approve the assessment of the project proposals received in the framework of the 2nd Call for Proposals. The Monitoring Committee approved 22 projects under conditions.
The projects will finance interventions for a total EU funding of MEUR 33,3 addressed to Priority Axis 2 Sustainable Region, covering two specific objectives:
- SO 2.1 Promote the sustainable valorisation and preservation of natural and cultural heritage as growth assets in the Adriatic-Ionian area.
- SO 2.2 Enhance the capacity in transnationally tackling environmental vulnerability, fragmentation, and the safeguarding of ecosystem services in the Adriatic-Ionian area.
13 projects will be funded under S.O. 2.1, and 9 will target S.O. 2.2.

The Lead Partner Seminar will be held on 1st and 2nd October 2019. The meeting, taking place in Bologna, will introduce the main rules and procedures of project management to the Lead Partners of the approved projects and start the negotiation process with ADRION JS.
